to the Radio Section of Beavercreek Fire Department's IT Division.
Beavercreek Township Fire Department utilizes Greene County's
800 Mhz radio system for all emergency radio traffic. Dispatching
is managed by Beavercreek City Police Department's dispatch center.
Each apparatus within the Fire Department is equipped with a
M/A-Com 800Mhz EDACS mobile radio. In addition, portable radios
are shared by fire crews when communications are necessary outside
a vehicle.
Beavercreek Fire Department works very closely with its neighboring
departments to establish specific protocols for radio communications.
