Advertisement for Bids

Sealed responses to a Request for Proposals will be received at the Beavercreek Township Fire Department for the following improvements: Removal of current self-supporting antenna tower and installation of new self-supporting antenna tower with networking hardware and installation

Bids must be received by 10:00 a.m. Wednesday August 24, 2022. The bids will be opened publicly and read at 10:30 a.m. in the designated Conference Room at the Beavercreek Township Fire Station 61, 2195 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45434.

Proposals must be enclosed and sealed in suitable large envelopes, clearly marked with the name of the bidding company and marked: “Beavercreek Township Fire Department: Station 63 Self-Supporting Antenna Tower and Installation Proposal, 851 Orchard Ln., OH 45434.”

Bidders must submit bids on the printed forms provided. No other form of Proposal will be accepted. All signatures must be original. No facsimile (fax) copies will be accepted.

The project will consist of the following:

1. Removal of all networking hardware from currently installed antenna

2. Removal and disposal of currently erected tower on site

3. The purchase, delivery, and erection of one (1) self-supporting antenna tower

4. Installation of all removed and replacement networking equipment

Copies may be obtained by interested companies at the above location, upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of $25.00 per copy, payable to Beavercreek Township.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit payable to Beavercreek Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, or by a bond for the full amount of the bid, conditioned that if such bid is accepted a contract will be promptly entered into and the performance thereof properly secured and that an approved surety bond in an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the entire proposal will be furnished for the faithful performance of the contract. All bonds are to be executed in full compliance with Ohio Revised Code §153.54.

Bidders must state separate prices for labor, materials, and total price.

All work under this contract must be completed no later than March 31, 2022.

No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt.

The Beavercreek Township Trustees reserve the right to refuse any bids or proposals and award the contract in the best interest of Beavercreek Township. Further, the Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids or proposals to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or proposal and to discuss the bid or proposal with Bidders after opening bids.
